Jennifer Hudson looks set to continue her rise in Hollywood as she is in talks to star in Winged Creatures, the latest ensemble film which is already carrying a huge cast and a strong story.

Winged Creatures centers on the events of a murder and suicide in a takeaway restaurant and how the survivors lives are affected by the event and how they try to get on with their lives. Adapted from a novel by Roy Freirich by Rowan Woods who also directs.

Already there's a fair list of names on the go for the film, including Forest Whitaker, Jackie Earle Haley, Kate Beckinsale, Guy Pearce, Dakota Fanning, and so on.

Other news from The Hollywood Reporter is that Troy Garity and Josh Hutcherson are joining the cast too. It sounds like it could be the next Crash (Filmstalker review), and that Hudson is surely set for big things if she can pull this one off as well.
