I've heard a little of Slow Burn in the past, but nothing more than brief snippets, the trailer looks interesting for two reasons, Ray Liotta and LL Cool J...okay, and Jolene Blalock! However it does look like a few other thrillers we've seen to date. Liotta though seems to play the good guy caught up in circumstance and a well woven plan of intrigue.

Interestingly the film was completed in 2005, shown at a few festivals, and officially released in December of last year in Kuwait. Then it hit Thailand, Japan earlier this month, and the US release is due on the 13th of April with Italy the following month. Strange release schedule, and it does suggest that it isn't that good. IMDB say:

A district attorney (Ray Liotta) is involved in a 24-hour showdown with a gang leader (LL Cool J) and is, at the same time, being manipulated by an attractive assistant district attorney (Jolene Blalock) and a cryptic stranger.

It is written and directed by Wayne Beach who write Murder at 1600 and The Art of War.
