The Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End trailer appeared online overnight, and Zac Efron has been talking about the possibility that he is the Speed Racer in the Wachowski brother's new film.

First up, a disappointment. There is no trailer for the Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. It appeared briefly on YouTube and then disappeared again, presumably by order of Disney. If anyone finds it out there elsewhere then drop us a note, but I suspect it won't last too long either.

Next, Zac Efron was contacted by IESB to try and find out if he really was on the Speed Racer film. He couldn't get much said, but what he did was probably enough to confirm he's being considered.

IESB: When do you start shooting Speed Racer? ZE: Yeah that’s the rumor, I don’t know if that’s going to happen. IESB: You have met with the Wachowski’s? ZE: I really can’t talk about it.

They then report that the conversation was interrupted by his publicist. They managed to let him say enough to get the report out and then clost the conversation down. So we'll just have to wait and see, but it sounds like there might be a few other names in that list to be considered.
