Tarantino presents Hell Ride

QuentinTarantino.jpgQuentin Tarantino is set to continue his love for pulp cinema as he teams up with Larry Bishop for a tale of blood, sex, and revenge on a motorcycle. Tarantino is presenting the film while Bishop will write, direct and star in the film.

Hell Ride will tell the story of...actually let me hand over to Production Weekly at this point because gramatically I'm not sure what they are saying:

...bad-ass biker Pistolero...who along with his brother The Gent and Comanche, hit the road to avenge the death of Pistolero’s old lady Cherokee Kisum, by the 666ers a rival motorcycle gang.

So I'm not sure if it's Pistolero, his brother, The Gent and Comanche, or if his brother is called The Gent, or even if he's called The Gent and Comanche...however many there are they are setting out for revenge.

Already, according to IMDB, Michael Madsen is lined up to play The Gent. Let's hope he doesn't use a videophone (in joke for UK cinema-goers).

I think this is probably quite clever, and if done quickly enough can capitalise on the success of Grindhouse.
