Walken will play Osbourne in Mötley Crüe film
Back in November we heard the rumour that Christopher Walken was going to play the slightly mad but legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, now it seems that it really is true as Tommy Lee, an ex Motley Crüe member, confirms it.
Tommy Lee was talking to The Herald Sun, a newspaper in Melbourne, and said that the Director of Borat, Larry Charles, had signed Walken to play Ozzy in the film of the Mötley Crüe story called The Dirt, based on the novel The Dirt - Mötley Crue: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band which tells the story of the rise of the Crüe.
The story comes through Moviehole. Yet no word on the bizarre rumour we heard at the time that Val Kilmer was being lined up to play Dave Lee Roth, that came from the lead singer of Crüe, Vince Neil. Still, if they can get Walken to play Osbourne, surely anything is possible?
