Director appointed to Narnia's Dawn Treader?

DawnTreader.jpgAlthough there hasn't been an actual announcement of who is directing the next Narnia film, it is being rumoured that a director has been chosen.

You'll remember that Andrew Adamson, who directed The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (Filmstalker review) and the upcoming Prince Caspian, has decided to take a break from directing the series and pass the mantle onto someone else for the third outing, Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

So we don't yet know who that person is, but we are hearing that the pre-production is starting and that the Director is locked in for the project from the reports on NarniaWeb through Teletext.

The previous story had a rumour that Neil Burger, might be attached to direct, I guess we'll have to wait for the official announcement.

Let's pretend that there wasn't a Director chosen and that we had the casting vote. Who would you choose to direct the series after Adamson? Who would you want to direct the film?

We've done some investigating of our own, and found this story to be only a rumor. The story was called a "non-existent item." We've been told to put no stock in this until we hear further.

Cheers Paul, I was careful to mention up front that this is a rumour, indeed most of the article is about rumour!
