Head Trauma interactive graphic novel online

HeadTrauma.jpgLance Weiler's Head Trauma film has perhaps the best website I've seen in a long time, it's an interactive graphic novel version of his film and it looks set to be serialised online. You definitely need to take a look at it.

I've seen some mentions of this film but never had the chance to see it myself. Weiler is the man behind the very cool The Last Broadcast, which undoubtedly influenced The Blair Witch Project in a huge way.

Head Trauma is a film about a man who returns to settle his Grandother's estate and finds his childhood home condemned and ransacked. He moves in and tries to put things back together but in the midst of this work he falls and hits his head. This starts a series of nightmares and waking visions which begin to merge with his reality making him think something is trying to kill him.

It looks a strong film, and there are some great comments from reviewers on the site, but having a look at the first episode of the online graphic novel and I'm amazed at the quality. It's superb and manages to evoke a strong mood of impending horror.

Have a look and see what you think. The official site is here through Stephen Susco's blog.
