Jennifer and David Lynch behind Surveillance

DavidLynch.jpgDavid Lynch is producing Surveillance, a film which will be directed by Jennifer Chambers Lynch, yes it's his daughter.

We already had the news recently that Jennifer Lynch was set to return after Boxing Helena, and in that story all we knew about the Surveillance plot was...

...a supernatural thriller. Lynch also wrote the script about an FBI Agent who turns up in a small town where everyone lies.

Now MoviesOnline has managed to get hold of the entire blurb and it sounds typically Lynch, and by that I mean either of the Lynch writer/directors.

The local police station is in disarray. Captain Billings, Officers Degrasso and Wright have apprehended three witnesses: Officer Jack Bennet, one of their own, tough, but affected by recent events; Bobby, young, high as a kite on cocaine; and Stephanie, eight years old, who has just witnessed her family being brutally murdered by two figures dressed in jumpsuits, gloves, boots, and horrifyingly disfiguring blue latex masks...

When two more bodies are found One of the FBI Agents who has arrived to take over the case takes the Officers with her to inspect the crime scene, and only the FBI Agent returns...For more of the plot, and what could be some spoilers, head over to MoviesOnline.

It does sound typically Lynch, and with that very enticing. I'm hooked already, especially with the cast that was previously mentioned.
