Kidman in remake of How to Marry a Millionaire

NicoleKidman.jpgNicole Kidman has signed up to a remake of How to Marry a Millionaire, How to Marry a Millionairethe original film having been made famous by a host of Hollywood greats and in particular the beautiful women who starred - Marilyn Monroe, Betty Grable and Lauren Bacall.

Now those names are gone can we expect the latest batch of great Hollywood leading ladies to join? If there are to be a group of them, who would you pick to stand next to Kidman?

According to the story in The Hollywood Reporter through Coming Soon her company is producing and Sacha Gervasi, who wrote Steven Spielberg's The Terminal, is set to rewrite the script, and it is set for a complete rework and modernisation.

Nicole Kidman is a great actress, a great Hollywood actress, although she's never really settled into a Hollywood friendly career. Every time she seems to with one or two films she pulls out an off track film with a strong performance that reminds us that she really is a great actress too.

However this does seem to be a complete Hollywood move. After remaking Body Snatchers as The Invasion, she's looking at one of the great comedy classics, How to Marry a Millionaire which launched Marilyn Monroe's career.

Who would you pick to stand next to Kidman?

Cate Blanchett.

Oh, that's a good choice. She certainly is deserving of appearing in a film which has old Hollywood stars written all over it.

How do you feel about Catherine Zeta-Jones, I think she is elegance personified.

This is disgusting. They shouldn't remake this classic, why don't they come up with more original ideas for movies and songs? Be creative Hollywood, PLEASE.
