Willis stars in Assassination of a High School President

BruceWillis.jpgBruce Willis is going to appear in a film called Assassination of a High School President which features him as that very President, a Desert Storm veteran who applies his training to every aspect of his life, including the school and the pupils.

The film is by two first time writers Tim Calpin and Kevin Jakubowski and is a murder mystery in a high school setting, so you can see why it is being compared to Brick (Filmstalker review).

The LA Times (registration required), through JoBlo, who have the story describe is as "A comedic homage to "Chinatown" set in a Catholic high school".

They go onto describe the film which is voiced by the lead character Bobby Funke who is a bullied sophomore investigating the theft of the school's SAT exams for the newspaper, and this leads to a bigger and further reaching conspiracy.

Sounds interesting, and although there are close comparisons with Brick I don't think that's really going to harm it, in fact it will have the exact opposite effect, and add in Bruce Willis and there's an interested following already.
