Wrath picks Fishburne, Valetta, Garcia, and many more

AmberValletta.jpgDays of Wrath is a film which looks set to court controversy as well as provide a thrilling drama. It reaches the news today after gaining Laurence Fishburne, Amber Valletta, Lupe Ontiveros, Jesse Garcia, Wilmer Valderrama and rapper Kurupt and is set against the backdrop of a gangland war in Los Angeles.

The story tells of a group of residents of the city who struggle to survive the war between two rival gangs rages throughout the city. Valderrama will star as the gang member who sets off the gang war by stealing a rapper's car and accidentally killing the mother of his gang's leader, he will be played by Garcia. Meantime, Fishburne will play a teacher and respected figure to the gangs, trying to make them see sense amongst the violence.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, also in the cast are Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Ana Claudia Talancon and rap artists David Banner, Rick Ross and Stavye "Slim Thug" Thomas.

Morgan plays an interesting role, he's a TV Producer that sends his girlfriend and anchorwoman, played by Valetta, right into the thick of the action to exploit the situation, and their dangerous predicament, for the sake of the show.

It does seem like this could be a much harder and perhaps darker ensemble film that does look at the darker side of humanity.
