Creepy Joshua trailer online

SamRockwell.jpgThe Joshua trailer appeared online the other day, but true to that site's form it was restricted for me to view, and that probably meant everyone outside the US and Canada, so today I find it online and unrestricted and was blown away by the creepiness of it.

Joshua is a film about a little boy who doesn't seem to like the arrival of a new baby in the family. He suffers the usual feelings that an existing child does, except there's something a little different about Joshua. You really have to see the trailer to get the full effect. It's superb.

The trailer is over at MoviesOnline [Flash:Embed].

The film stars Sam Rockwell and Vera Farmiga, who you'll recognise straight away, although maybe not in this trailer. She was the lawyer in The Departed (Filmstalker review), that's probably the most resent role you'll recognise her from.

The film won the Cinematography Award at Sundance and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize, add in Sam Rockwell and an exceedingly creepy child actor, and this looks like it could be a powerful film to watch out for.

i gotta agree richard hte trailer is absolutely creepy.
