Dead Zone star in Dark Knight

AnthonyMichaelHall.jpgSo Anthony Michael Hall has joined The Dark Knight, in a rather unusual casting announcement. Although nothing more can be given away about what role he's playing, it does seem a strange choice.

Anthony Michael Hall is best known to me for The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles and Weird Science, although I do remember he was good in Six Degrees of Separation, but to most of the US audience he's probably better known for his lead in the TV series The Dead Zone.

So what's he doing in The Dark Knight? Your guess is as good as mine. The story over at IESB tells us that he can't tell anyone his role because it affects the story and he doesn't want to be the guy to ruin the surprise. Now that's interesting.

Any ideas as to who he could be playing that could so affect the story if it was told early?
