Del Toro, Cuarón and Iñárritu team up
The three top Mexican Directors Guillermo del Toro, Alfonso Cuarón and Alejandro González Iñárritu have teamed up with Cuarón's younger brother Carlos and Rodrigo García and are touting themselves around Hollywood for a five film deal.
That means one film per director, and the ones that are set to win are Carlos Cuarón and Rodrigo García, one would imagine that even with just the three names Guillermo del Toro, Alfonso Cuarón and Alejandro González Iñárritu Hollywood would fork out a combined budget of US$100 million, but that's the total to be shared amongst the five of them.
However the deal is far from being secured and at the moment it is just being discussed around the Studios, but it wouldn't be a bad bet for the money considering the track record of these guys.
The good news from the story at Variety is that we should be set to see some top quality films, these guys tend to know their own films.
