Lee Evans and Stanley Tucci are starring in a very strange comedy indeed, I Was Hitler's Weatherman, which I'm sure will upset some.

The film will see Lee Evans playing a young Jew who assumes the identity of a Nazi meteorologist Ernest Deisin to hide himself away. Except the opposite happens and he is so good at his job that is promoted to Hitler's personal meteorologist.

Evans wrote the script and Time Out Movie Blog reports that Stanley Tucci is in talks to play Hitler. Stuart Urban is already signed to direct.

It does sound like a bizarre story, and one of these comedies that is either going to work or offend. Which is it?
