Expendable One comic comedy

ExpendableOne.jpgThe Expendable One is a cool sounding graphic novel (comic) that is the latest to be adapted for a film. It features a character who drinks his friend's scientific experiment and it gives him the power to regenerate his body after any kind of injury.

You can see where the title comes from already. With his new found powers he decides to go up against the forces of evil, but discovers that the idea of being a superhero isn't really that easy.

According to Variety Shane Kuhn and Brendan Cowles are writing the screenplay. They are already writing the screenplay for Twitch, an action film set in the world of videogaming.

Expendable One sounds like a pretty good story, I don't know if any of you have read it and can tell us what you thought. My only concern is that they are making it into a comedy, so that does make me wonder how many comedy comic films have actually worked...and that answer is not many.
