Happily I'll admit I was, and still am, a doubter of the remake of the John Carpenter classic Halloween. I'm just not convinced that Rob Zombie can pull something off that's as close to the original. Now the yellow band trailer is online, and I'm quite surprised.

To be honest I have no idea what a yellow band trailer is. I think it means it's slightly more frightening than a usual trailer and not quite as scary as a red band. That's my guess anyway.

So you can see the trailer over at Bloody Disgusting [Flash:Embed] and find out for yourself. It is rather good, although I do think the closing scene is pretty poorly handled, the rest of it looks very powerful and menacing.

Could Zombie prove his sceptics wrong?
