Lohan, Dawson, MacLaine and Dukakis in grannie crime comedy

LindseyLohan.jpgDespite the reports of Lindsay Lohan messing up her own career, she's certainly getting the roles. She's just signed up for a film alongside Rosario Dawson, Channing Tatum, Shirley MacLaine and Olympia Dukakis in a comedy that doesn't sound too exciting to me.

Variety describe it as a "grandma gang comedy" which does sound pretty painful to me. still, it is showing that she is still getting the big roles. Ash Baron Cohen is directing from a script by Trent Haaga which is based on actual events.

The story has been based on a growing trend of crimes committed by more mature ladies, grannies some might call them, from fraud to drug dealing and even murder! The film is called Poor Things, I think I concur with that title but for different reasons.
