Pitt's publicist says no He-Man
Brad Pitt's publicist has categorically denied that he is being looked at for the role of He-Man in the long paused He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
The story yesterday which sounded rather stupid at the time, suggested that Brad Pitt would make a great He-Man and that's about it, from there on it was rumour and speculation. The story even suggested that Gerard Butler was "still in the running". This I found amusing since the film was put in turnaround some time ago and I've heard nothing about a script, director, or even funding since.
According to WENN through Starpulse News Blog, Pitt's publicist told The Celebrity Truth that it was completely not true. There's no word yet on if the wild rumour was even partially right with another guess of Gerard Butler, but I'd doubt it.
So Pitt isn't in it, another rumour killed. I think it's fair to say that Butler won't be either, don't you? After all Pitt is well above this role in his career and Butler is climbing past it as we speak, it would mark a strange choice to pick up a role like this, especially considering where the project isn't right now.
