Silver restarts He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
It seems the plans for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe aren't as dead as we thought. The word is out that Joel Silver has bought the rights to the He-Man film and Justin Marks is writing the script as we speak.
Previously we had heard that the film was officially dead, and that we weren't going to be seeing He-Man and the Masters of the Universe anytime soon, if ever. Sadly that put the final nail in the coffin that had John Woo directing.

So Marks is writing the story, what we need to hope for is that he can come up with something strong and that translates to the screen with a good director, the last thing we need is a cheese revisitation of the 1980's version.
