The first film from the UK digital studio Slingshot has been taken up for international sales by Moviehouse Entertainment.

Sugarhouse (called Sugarhouse Lane on IMDB) is described as an "urban thriller" by Variety and is a first time film from Director Gary Love. It's based on a play by Dominic Leyton called Collision and is set to star Andy Serkis.

We've already heard about their second film, French Film, which is from another first time Director Jackie Oudney and is also picking up some interesting cast names such as Eric Cantona.

This studio looks set to make some interesting features, and it's just their first film already.
