Dario Argento is a horror god, and his latest work La Terza Madre (The Third Mother or Mother of Tears) has just had a teaser trailer premiered at Cannes, and some evil person filmed it and released it on YouTube.

What a terrible person, and for that we thank them! You can see the teaser trailer over the page. There's not that much to it, and you might have to turn the brightness up a little, but it's a taster.

The film stars Asia Argento and Udo Kier alongside a list of beautiful and talented actors and actresses in the third part of his Three Mothers trilogy which is set in Rome. The film is about the most powerful witch whose power is unleashed after an American art student unwittingly opens an urn that contains the witch. Suicides spread across the city and witches galore congregate for the end of the world. Meanwhile Sarah, the art student that began it all, must use her psychic powers to stop the witch before it is too late.

La Terza Madre looks interesting, although there's not that much to see as yet. With Dario Argento though you know it's going to be scary and bloody.
