I've briefly seen Cannibal Holocaust and I was not impressed, I sincerely hope that he remake isn't going to torture and murder animals on screen for people's viewing pleasure. The first news is out about it in the form of the plot outline and so far it's staying close to the original.

Professor Harold Moore is heading out into the remote jungles of South America to find out what happened to a documentary crew filming a documentary about cannibal tribes. It sounds pretty much as the original Cannibal Holocaust, I just hope to hell that they aren't going to be skinning and gutting animals alive on camera for the remake.

Unless you are a serious horror fan I really wouldn't approach the original, and so far there's nothing here to interest me in the sequel.
