Jessica Parker says yes to Sex and the City
Sarah Jessica Parker has finally talked about the Sex and the City film and she's suggesting that it is going ahead, and the reasons for it not happening aren't because of the big stars not wanting to get back together.
Previously it was rumoured that the stars weren't getting back together for anything from not getting on to pay disputes about who was getting paid the most and giving the most in the show.
"This is a very complicated puzzle to put back - not for the reason that people speculate about because as far as I know all of the actresses want to be together again for this movie…Somehow in my brain I think the timing is fortuitous because if we had done it years ago... we couldn't have done it now... I'm hopeful and very excited about it."
That's the quote that Sarah Jessica Parker made on EntertainmentTonight through digital spy. It's not a complete confirmation, but it is close, and more than she's ever said about the film going ahead before.
So are we looking at the Sex and the City film actually happening? She does him that she doesn't categorically know that all the stars are on board, but then that's perhaps just me looking for a complication where there isn't one.
I still can't see how a story would evolve from the end of the series, other than intentionally splitting Big and Carrie up so that they could get back together again.
