Prince of Persia script reviewed
A script review for Prince of Persia: Sands of Time has appeared online, and it seems very favourable, the review even goes so far as to say that it is a 9th century Indiana Jones, and that is praise indeed. So far the film is set to be a Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer film, and you can see it following Pirates of the Caribbean and becoming a franchise with huge merchandising and perhaps a ride or two.
Latino Review have the script review which they are deliberately keeping spoiler light, something I am glad of, but despite that they have a little about the opening act up until the point that Dastan first uses the dagger.
They do say very positive things about the script and say that it really is a big action film. They also point out that the film is going to have a lot of Parkour in it - that's the cool human stunt action you saw in the opening Casino Royale (Filmstalker review) chase sequence and throughout the very cool District B13.
All in all it sounds like Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is lining itself up for a big blockbuster. How can it fail?
