Shoot 'Em Up trailer

MonicaBellucci.jpgBack in September of last year I posted the Shoot 'Em Up quicktime trailer, and just yesterday another has shown up online. The film stars Clive Owen, Paul Giamatti and the gorgeous Monica Bellucci in a film that carries a very unusual plot.

The story goes like this, Clive Owen's character helps deliver a baby during a shoot out, Monica Bellucci's character is the mother I presume, once delivered Owen has to protect baby and mother from the army of gunmen.

That's all there is to it, well on the blurb front anyway, there's so much more to it than that I'm sure. The first trailer looked really cool, especially with Paul Giamatti as the head bad guy, and now there's this trailer.

I haven't actually had time to see it from IGN [QT:WMV:Flash:Embed], so it could well be the same one, but I couldn't let it pass without posting about it. I think this could be a surprise film, and regardless of anything else there's Giamatti as a baddie and Bellucci as, well, simply on screen. What more could you want? Guns and Owen? Done.

I love the trailer, but it reminds me a bit of Smoking Aces. Let's hope this one turns out better than that, but it might be saddled with comparisons to Children of Men even though I doubt they'll be remotely similar in tone.

Frickin.. SWEEEET!
Offficially my most anticipated film of the year (now that Grindhouse has passed us by).

I GUARANTEE this will be better than Smokin' Aces. It's Paul Giamatti. The greatest living actor of our time :p - - and how cool is Clive Owen in pretty much everything he does?
