Spy Hunter drops Woo for Anderson

Spyhunter.jpgWell it is now official that John Woo is off Spy Hunter: Nowhere to Run and a new Director is onboard. That man is none other than Paul W.S. Anderson. He's also set to write a treatment that will then go onto be used for the script of his version of the story.

I can't say this is great news for the story, still I never really believed that the John Woo version would really get going, and so we see ourselves getting ready for the Paul W.S. Anderson version instead.

The story comes from The Hollywood Reporter and it just doesn't really surprise me that much.

What about you though, are you annoued that Woo isn't heading this up and that Anderson has taken the reigns? Did you really have higher hopes for the film?
