Stalked: Da Vinci Code case dropped and we knew Apted was on Narnia

MichaelApted.jpgWe knew Michael Apted was going to direct the Narnia sequel The Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader two months ago, and the Da Vinci Code court case is dropped, giving free publicity to the sequel.

Michael Apted has been announced as the Director of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (rumour that Neil Burger was to direct the next Narnia film Amazon.com / Amazon.co.uk ), something we all knew two months ago. The story comes from Variety.

The story itself will follow Lucy and Edmund from the first two films teaming up with a new character of their cousin Eustace. They are transported into the magical kingdom through a painting and land onboard the Dawn Treader ship which is carrying King Caspian of Narnia who is searching for the seven lost lords of Narnia.

Meanwhile, the court case against the Da Vinci Code from some religious zealots keen on censoring the whole of the world has been dropped according to The Hollywood Reporter. The religious obscenity case was dropped after an official for the state said that there were no grounds for the investigation which had been started by clergy in a small town north of Rome.

Almost as crazy as the same religious group issuing a ten commandments of driving...
