Friday is trailer day. There are three new TV adverts, commercials, spots, whatever you'd like to call them, online for the Neil Gaiman, Matthew Vaughn directed Stardust. I have to say these, combined with the great trailer they have there, are really selling the film to me.

I was keen to see what Matthew Vaughn could do after the very stylish Layer Cake (Filmstalker review), even more so since he pulled out of X-Men: The Last Stand (Filmstalker review) and turned to another effects heavy film in Stardust.

The cast were the first thing to start making me notice, since I was never a big Gaiman fan, Robert De Niro, Peter O'Toole, Michelle Pfeiffer, Claire Danes, Sienna Miller and Jason Flemyng all caught my eye, and the first teaser looked interesting. Now though, these clips have added the film to my must see list without a doubt.

Just go to the official site and select Videos. The trailer starts playing and you can see the TV clips underneath. Although they all cover similar ground there are some extra shots to be had by watching them all.
