Daryl Hannah is joining John Schneider and Armand Assante in a Hallmark Channel original movie called Shark Swarm. Yes, it does sound that cheesy and I'm instantly wondering what happened to Hannah after her brilliant return in Kill Bill.

According to Reuters through Yahoo News, the film will see the usually tame sharks turned into predatory killers by toxins which have been released into the sea by a corporate developer trying to cut corners and save costs.

Of course the sharks start gathering around the small coastal town of Full Moon Bay, and a couple of local fishermen are the ones who discover the toxic dumping and are the only ones who can stop it.

It's set for a three hour film next year, and while it sounds incredibly cheesy, I can't help but be drawn to it.

Mind you, what has happened to Daryl Hannah, I really thought that she was set for a complete career revival after Kill Bill in which she was brilliant, but apparently not.
