Orlando Bloom in Angels & Demons?

OrlandoBloom.jpgThere's a rumour online that Orlando Bloom is set to star in Angels & Demons, the sequel to The Da Vinci Code. Although there's no word of what role, he is rumoured to be in discussions and joining Tom Hanks and the also rumoured Gisele Bundchen.

Gisele Bundchen has been rumoured before, with Tom Hanks onboard. Ron Howard is also set to return and direct Angels & Demons.

I have to say that even if these rumours from Cinema Blend turn out to be true, it holds no excitement for me whatsoever. Frankly if you threw in any of the top actors I think I'd still be quite unmoved. The Da Vinci Code (Filmstalker review) wasn't that great a film and the thing that hit it the hardest was the fact that the book had been so widely read and the film followed it almost word for word. There was nothing new to be had by watching the film, just seeing everything you had read on the big screen.

So if they plan to do the same thing with Angels & Demons I can't really see the interest, although obviously this is the far superior book to Da Vinci Code.

Although there's no word of what role

He might be playing the role of Camerlengo Carlo Ventresca.

So who was he again?

LOL

If I say it I will spoil the whole thing! *wicked grin*

I stopped reading when I got to Gisele Bundchen's name. This has to be some kind of joke.
