After finding out about the new Dark Knight site for the Joker, and then seeing the teaser that was captured from Comic-Con, the official teaser has been released on the Joker's new website, and once again it reveals less than nothing.

There are options to download this in HD, and my advice is not to bother, watch the embedded flash version because it's really just talking over the bat symbol.

Still, what it does give us is the first audio of Heath Ledger as the Joker, and he sounds pretty good, not manically over the top as previously Joker's have been.

Meanwhile the first clear image of Ledger as Joker has appeared online. You can see the full image over at Coming Soon, showing the purple suited and make up clad man as he holds a knife to Maggie Gyllenhaal's face. Yes I think we are in for a meaner and less happy go lucky Joker.
