The excellent Stanley Tucci is said to be in negotiations for the role of the killer in the Peter Jackson directed film The Lovely Bones.

Stanely Tucci is a stunningly great actor, probably most noted for his not so heroic characters, and there's no doubting that he does make an excellent evil character. He would play George Harvey, the man who rapes and murders the main character in the story, a fourteen year old girl. She then follows the events from heaven, watching her family, the police and the killer.

Already set to star in The Lovely Bones are Rachel Weisz, Ryan Gosling and Saoirse Ronan as the girl.
