Is Batman not going to be in the Justice League of America film, or is it just Christian Bale and we're going to see another actor playing Batman in the JLA film?

I'm actually not so sure, but in a recent comment Christian Bale, who is currently playing Batman, said that he has not been approached for the JLA film nor is he doing the film after The Dark Knight.

What he does say is that it would be better after Batman 3, which first of all confirms a third Batman with him in the costume, but doesn't actually rule him out for the Justice League of America film as Batman.

Here's his actual comment from IESB:

IESB: How would you feel about the studio recasting Batman for Justice League?
Bale: It’d be better if it doesn’t tread on the toes of what we’re doing, though I feel that it would be better if it comes out after Batman 3.

Considering how far away the JLA film could be (it carries a 2010 date) and that it would tie in two active franchises of Superman and Batman, I think it could feasibly take as long as a third Batman film to get made. Depends how quickly they go for a third Batman that is.
