There's a first look at a still for David Mamet's Redbelt underground fighting film online, and although there's not that much to it so far, but the first look is always the deepest...no, that's a song.

The film sees Chiwetel Ejiofor as a Jiu-Jitsu master who has given up on the fighting to run a self defense training school. He is conned by a collection of movie stars and fight promoters and he must enter the ring as a fighter to regain his honour and his title.

The film is described as an American Samurai film set in the world of mixed martial arts. Now that does sound exciting, and I'm a big fan of Ejiofor anyway, not to mention the cracking storyline and the talent of David Mamet behind the script and direction. How could you not be interested in Redbelt?
