Gordon-Levitt in collaborative Uncertainty

JosephGordon-Levitt.jpgJoseph Gordon-Levitt is set to star in a film written by David Siegel and Scott McGehee which sees the actors working with the scriptwriters on developing their character's dialogue.

The film, Uncertainty, will see a couple faced with an incredibly important decision to make on the fourth of July, and the film will be cut into two sections which show the two different decisions that they could have made. The story comes from The Hollywood Reporter.

Although at first glance it might sound a little like Sliding Doors, there's a lot more to this than first meets the eye. The fact that the excellent Joseph Gordon-Levitt is in it, and that the script is being developed with the actors, something I think I remember hearing of before but can't remember the film it was used on.

The whole idea definitely has my interest, mainly because it sounds like there's some intelligence in it and not just a throwaway piece of entertainment. Here's hoping that plays out.
