Ira and Abby trailer online
Okay I'm a sucker for a nice romantic comedy which gives you hope for this pretty messed up human race. I can't help it, it's the easiest way to get to an audience, and a smile and a tear at the end of a film are often a great end to a stressful week.
So I smiled when I watched the trailer for Ira and Abby, and I could feel that poignant moment that would feel ten times bigger in a cinema. I think it looks a lot of fun.
The film, described as a sweet, hilarious and slightly subversive romantic comedy, looks at two people who meet, feel the twinge of excitement, and decide to get married in a few hours. The film then concentrates on their relationship afterwards and how the love grows from two people.
Starring Chris Messina and Jennifer Westfeldt, who also wrote the film, it also stars Jason Alexander, Frances Conroy, Fred Willard, Judith Light and Robert Klein. Robert Cray directs.
Yeah, call me an old romantic, but I think I might get a kick out of this film. See the trailer over at Apple Trailers [QT:S:M:L:480p:720p:1080p]
