New Hitman trailer online

Hitman.jpgThere's a new Hitman trailer online and I think it might have a bit of a mixed reception. It looks fantastic, much better than the first one, and we hear 47 actually speaking.

Seeing this, although it looks really well put together and there are some classic shots, I am a little concerned that Timothy Olyphant has been miscast in the film. Yes, he is a strong actor and he was superb as the baddie in Die Hard 4.0 (Filmstalker review), but I just don't get the feeling that he looks or sounds right for Hitman.

One thing I am excited about and was disappointed not to see was Dougray Scott (congratulations by the way), I want to see him in more films, he's a damn good actor and great as a baddie, as all Scottish actors are!

Back to the trailer though, it has tons of style and I really do like this version. It's something that could really make me want to go and see the film.

What do you think of Timothy Olyphant in this new Hitman trailer, and what about the trailer itself, looking good isn't it? Although are they introducing too much of a love story in here? It's subtle at the moment, but...

See for yourself with the new trailer over at IGN [Flash:QT:S:M:WMV:S:M:HD].

Rather surprisingly, I've been won over. I'm still not a big fan of the trailer but I do like the concept of the film and Olyphant seems to pull the gun-for-hire, something I didn't think he'd be able to do.

I hear you Marina. There are a few sites saying that this is a rubbish trailer, and I just don't get it myself, I think it's a cracking trailer, the only bad bit is Olyphant, so I disagree on that front. He just doesn't feel like the right kind of character.
