Rise of the Footsoldier trailer

Rise of the Footsoldier is based on the true story of Carlton Leach who was one of the leaders of one of the most feared football hooligan gangs in England to become a member of a notorious gang of criminals who were feared in the late eighties and early nineties, and the trailer looks pretty good.

The film will follow the three decades of Leach's life through football hooliganism and finally becoming one of the most feared gangsters in the UK and is co-written and directed by Julian Gilbey and is released on September the 7th in the UK only.

I've seen posters for this on the sides of buses in Edinburgh, but I've seen no other promotional material until I caught the trailer through Movie-List Forums [FLV:WMV:Flash] which does look rather powerful. You can read more about it over at the Rise of the Foot Soldierofficial film site and you can grab the FLV directly from the site.

I don't feel we did wrong in taking this great country away from the Indians. Our so-called stealing of this country from them was just a matter of survival. There were great numbers of people who needed new land, and the Indians were selfishly trying to keep it for themselves.
