Serenity special edition DVD

Serenity_Poster.jpgA new Serenity DVD is coming this month, one packed with tons of features and extras, so for those of you who are fans of the series and the film, this is a definite purchase for you.

As yet there's no word on if the Joss Whedon science fiction film from his short lived but well followed TV series is going to be released on high-definition formats, but for now the technical details are enough. Honestly, this puppy is packed.

FilmFodder have all the specifications, perhaps the biggest list I've seen, apart from the recent Blade Runner and Close Encounters releases I talked about a this week. The full specifications are in the main story.

Serenity (Filmstalker review) was an excellent film, made better when accompanied by the TV series. Could this be the last we'll see of the crew?

Thanks to FilmFodder for that specifications list.

I bought this on DVD, and then on HD-DVD. If Universal think I'm giving them even more money, they can blow me. Double-dipping should be banned.

Yeah, that is a poor practice for the customer, although good for their business.

I always hold off buying DVD's for ages, just in case. Even then though you get hit, look at the Blade Runner and Close Encounters box sets! How long can you wait?
