Leatherface is set to star in an Icelandic horror film, and a new film will see monkey's as soldiers in a horror comedy.

The actor who played Leatherface in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Gunnar Hansen, is to appear in an Icelandic horror film from Júlíus Kemp called Reykjavik Whale Watching Massacre. So far, according to Variety, the film is described as a mix of The Blair Witch Project, The Evil Dead and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Dark Horse is making a horror comedy called War Monkeys scripted by Cleve Nettles from a story by Chris Patton who recently created Monarch of the Moon and Destination Mars which IESB says that Leonard Maltin said is “the best spoof ever done on the 1950's sci-fi genre.” Monkey soldiers in a horror comedy, at least it's original!
