Ben Affleck joins the big cast comedy He's Just Not That Into You and Ziyi Zhang may be joining the long awaited English language Waiting.

Ziyi Zhang is in talks to appear in the long awaited Waiting, an adaptation of Ha Jin's National Book Award-winning novel. The project was first started in 2001 and is only now coming to the fore. The story is about a doctor in the Chinese Revolutionary Army who falls in love with a nurder despite being trapped in an arranged marriage and the film will be English language. According to Variety Chow Yun-fat was once attached, but now the producers are looking to younger stars such as Ziyi Zhang and Takeshi Kaneshiro.

Ben Affleck is continuing mediocrity as he is said to be in negotiations for the comedy He's Just Not That Into You alongside Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Kevin Connolly, Bradley Cooper, Ginnifer Goodwin, Scarlett Johansson and Justin Long. Saying that though, it does sound like an interesting cast, could that mean it's a stronger film than I'm expecting? Variety tell us that the story is based on a book adapted by two writers from Sex and the City which concentrates on the misunderstandings that happen between the opposite sex...and that happens a lot!
