Justin Timberlake joins Mike Myers film The Love Guru alongside Jessica Alba, Romany Malco and Verne Troyer.

Mike Myers is set to play an American who is abandoned in India and brought up by guru's. When he returns to America he becomes a guru of relationships and one of his jobs is to fix the relationship of a top Ice Hockey player and his wife so that he can continue playing. Hence The Love Guru.

There's a bit more to it than that really but that's the heart of it. I don't think it sounds that good to be honest, there's something that just doesn't bring it above the average bar for me. Of course I haven't seen the character and Myers does have a great talent for comedy so maybe he's going to surprise me, but the Indian guru idea doesn't feel right.

The announcement comes from Rope of Silicon, and although I might not think that the film sounds that great, the cast sounds a lot better...or does it? I'm just thinking of those names and they've had their fair share of duds too. It all depends on the script and the acceptability of that character.
