Friday 13th remake continues

Friday13th_Poster.jpgHollywood knows best, and so they continue with the remake of Friday the 13th and it looks like it will arrive before the Hollywood strike.

Just as a reminder Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes production company has this one in hand, and with Michael Bay saying he'd like to get a film out before the strike and that isn't going to be Transformers 2, you could surmise that it's this one.

The writers attached are Damian Shannon and Mark Swift who wrote the Freddy vs Jason script according to a source over at Shock Till You Drop and through HorrorMovies.ca.

They remind us that Jonathan Liebesman who directed The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning was up to direct this Friday the 13th remake, so maybe this won't see Michael Bay on board, after all this might be a little small for his tastes.
