When a film site usually goes live there's not much content, and when it does come there's the usual fare. However with the Watchmen site something is very clear, the filmmakers here are deadly serious, they really are loving the material right from the outset.

You can see that in just about every page of the site, there are shots and panels from the original graphic novel/comic book series, there are pages for fan developed art and videos, there's on the set pictures, in fact everything that the film fan would seek out for their favourite production is being provided here for you.

Watchmen is looking really strong, and nowhere more so than when you look at the official casting page. Once you see those character stills side by side with the actors and actresses, you might start believing. It's clear that Zack Snyder and his team already do, and have done for some time.

The Watchmen official site, found through IESB, looks more like a top of the range fan site than a marketing film site. Studios take note, this site is something.
