The trailer for Awake is online, the film stars Hayden Christensen and Jessica Alba in a film about waking up under anasthetic during an operation.

More than that it weaves a thriller through the story and looks pretty damn powerful. I was really taken in by the short trailer and how it presented the story.

There are some very powerful moments in the trailer, although I have to say that I'm a bit biased here at the moment, considering that I've just had my yearly checkup and realised that I'll most definitely be undergoing open heart surgery myself...so watching this gave me an eerie chill. Does it do the same for you?

What do you think? I'm a big fan of Lena Olin, probably moreso than the two leads, but the story here draws more interest than the stars.
