Campbell confirms Bruce 2

BruceCampbell.jpgBruce Campbell has confirmed that there is work ongoing on a sequel for My Name is Bruce 2, and that it will be set in Europe.

He also talks again on the issue of Bubba Nosferatu, the sequel to the excellent Bubba Ho-tep (Filmstalker review) and why it just won't be happening.

Once again Bruce Campbell has talked about his unhappiness with the script for the second Bubba film and that rather than he and Don fall out they've just decided to go their separate ways.

On the subject of a sequel to My Name is Bruce, it looks as though it really is dead. His video interview over at IESB doesn't sound promising at all, there's not even a glimpse of hope in the comments he gave, although he does say that the film could well go ahead anyway, after all you can't stop a film-maker from making a film.

Bad news then, because I loved Bubba Ho-tep, but if the scripts not right, then it's not right.

Excellent! I'm looking forward to catching "My Name is Bruce" on DVD and the fact that he's in talks for the sequel to "Bubba Ho-tep" is great news. I'm not sure a sequel will work without him!

No Marina, he's out of Bubba Nosferatu, he doesn't agree with the script and they've gone their separate ways.

He's in talks for the My Name is Bruce sequel.
