De Palma's Redacted trailer online

BrianDePalma.jpgA trailer has appeared online for Brian De Palma's Redacted, and it can be seen right here on Filmstalker.

Redacted initially sounds much like Brian De Palma's Casualties of War as it looks at the true life events of a rape and murder of a 14 year old Iraqi girl, and the killing of three members of her family by four US soldiers in an attempt to cover the events up.

Unfortunately I can't see the trailer from work and so it's up to you to give it the once over and put your thoughts down on paper. Does it look as strong as the blurb suggests, and does it give the feel as though it's an unbiased and balanced view of events?

I had heard that the film was to look at how soldiers are affected by war and how these crimes can often come about, not as an excuse you understand, but as a balanced viewpoint.

What does the trailer make you feel about the film and the topic?

The trailer comes from AOL Moviefone through AICN.

This movie ought to help me with dealing with the Iraqis on my next deployment in Oct. Thanks DePalma!
