Einstein biographical film
Lionsgate have bought the rights to a life story about Albert Einstein and are planning on creating a film that will look at the life of the theoretical physicist up to his winning of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1921.
The rights come from the Walter Isaacson biography entitled Einstein: His Life and Universe (Amazon.co.uk / Amazon.com
), who will also act as a consultant on the film.
According to Variety through Coming Soon, Isaacson was the first biographer to gain access to Einstein's private archives.
The film will look into Einstein's personal struggles and his romantic relationships. It seems that Einstein had a reputation for being a little bit of a ladies man.
Sounds rather interesting, since we've never really seen a proper film about one of the greatest scientists of our time, as well as one of the largest icons we've ever had, and he's not been featured in films too often.
