In a bit of self promotion to try and kick off a film, the gorgeous lips of Gina Gershon have uttered that she would love to star in a sequel to the film Bound, and would do it in a second.

She says that all it would take is a call from the Wachowski brothers and she would be on board.

Bound was made in 1996 as a way for the Wachowski's to show the studio that they were ready for making the Matrix trilogy. It starred Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly as lovers who con Tilly's character's husband, played by Joe Pantoliano, out of a suitcase full of money, a suitcase full of mob money.

It's a great story and well filmed, and it does have some really clever scenes as well as some great dialogue. Surprisingly it really does concentrate on characters rather than effects, and it sure would have persuaded me to let these guys make a film.

According to WENN through Starpulse News Blog, she said:

"I would love to do it. If they wrote it and said, 'Do it,' I'd do it in a second."

Well it's another example of an actor/actress trying to kick start an idea into a project by talking about it in the media, and let's face it, Gershon hasn't really been pouring out the quality film roles.
